Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, has entered the world of esports with an investment into the esports team Fade 2 Karma.
Tyson was introduced to esports via his son, who is both a gamer and fan of professional esports.
With this new found interest the team at Tyson Ranch was tasked with finding an investment that made sense, enter Fade 2 Karma.
With this investment, Fade 2 Karma will build a production and streaming facility in El Segundo, California, near Los Angeles. The facility will consist of rooms for livestreaming, a performance stage, a content production area, and a rooftop party deck.
Tyson recently joined many of the Fade 2 Karma professional Hearthstone players for a livestreaming session broadcasted on Alexandra "Alliestrasza" Macpherson's Twitch channel.
Tyson recently told ESPN: "I thought it was pretty awesome. We played Hearthstone. I really sucked real bad. You have to start somewhere. I played games before, so I'm going to start over and see what happens from here."
Tim "Theude" Bergmann founded Fade 2 Karma in 2015, since then the team has expanded its competitive Hearthstone player and streamer base covering most of the world.
