Victory Park, Dallas, Texas, is to become the new home of North American Organization, Envy Gaming’s new training facility. Envy Gaming announced plans to expands its 22,000 square foot headquarters making a home for Envy Gaming’s executive team, including staff for Dallas Fuel, it’s Overwatch League franchise as well as Envy’s Call of Duty League franchise Dallas Empire.
During a discussion on the expansion, Mike Rufail, CEO of Envy Gaming shared his ideals to create bigger things for the esports industry: “Our new training facility and headquarters in Uptown Dallas is going to transform the way we compete, engage with our fans locally and reach fans around the entire world. This is a catalyst for us to make even greater leaps on behalf of the entire esports industry.”
Envy Gaming was attracted to the Victoria Park location due to its easy access to nearby amenities. Victoria Park located in Texas is home to over 2,000 residences.
Also located in the park is W Dallas-Victory Hotel, American Airlines Center and home to Dallas Mavericks, House of Blues and Perot Museum of Nature and Science. The 22,000 square foot facility owned by Envy Gaming will hold areas for team training, player development as well as content creation areas.
In 2017, Envy moved its headquarters from Charlotte, North Carolina to Dallas, Texas following an investment from Hersh Interactive Group. Dallas Fuel and Dallas Empire players will now be moved from various locations in North America to Dallas in time for the facilities planned open in 2020.
